Reunion 2019

Will be held in Virginia on April 9-11, 2019. It was decided not to go to Lexington because the prices were really high and facilities were not particularly suited for our reunion.

It will be held in Charlottesville, Va. which is about 40 miles north of Lexington and full of history. The airport is only 10 minutes out of town. We have booked a block of rooms at the Omni Charlottesville Hotel, 212 Ridge Mcintire Road, Charlottesville, VA. 22903. Room cost will be $ 143.75 per night including taxes. This is a 4-star hotel which is centrally located. Go out the back door and you are in an area that has shops, restaurants, and other places of interest. We have a room to gather plus a room for our banquet on Wednesday evening. We have a block of 20 rooms that are available Tuesday-Thursday and we have rooms at that rate on Monday and Friday. They will do a buffet for us on Wednesday evening.

1. Event is titled Charlie Battery 1/14 Reunion.

2. Cut off for reservations is 5:00 PM on March 8, 2019.

3. Reservations call 1-800-843-6664.

4. Check in time is 3:00 PM. Free Hotel parking.

5. We have a room from 3-11 PM on April 9 & 10 plus there

are many areas in the hotel to gather both inside

and outside.

6. The hotel has a coffee shop, restaurant, and a bar.

7. We have a food and beverage minimum of $ 1,250.00 that

enables us to have the discounted room rates and meeting

room rate reduced. We will $ 100.00 total for two days.

8. Several historic sites are within the area plus several

wineries, breweries and distilleries.

9. This outlines the basic items. Further details can be

from the hotel website. Should you have any issues

please let us know and we are excited to see everyone

in April in Virginia. As we continue to get older each

year it becomes more meaningful to get together each

year at our reunion so plan now.

Brothers Forever

Welcome to

This web site was made possible by the many contributions from the different men who served in Charlie Battery.  The main purpose of this web site is to tell the story of Charlie Battery and the things that the battery and it's men went through during the Vietnam War.  The things that you will see and read have some historical value about this Artillery Battery.  The story is not finished by any means. Someone new comes along all the time and the story becomes more complete.  There are 'no war stories' of exaggeration told here just the facts.  This site is dedicated to all the men who were in Charlie Battery and fought
 "Under The Southern Cross".
The web site has 89 pages and over 800 plus pictures.  It takes some time for some of the pages to load.  It is well worth the wait.  Use the navigation markers at the bottom of each page to see the entire  site.  Turn up your speakers and take a step back in time.
